Nurullo Aliev vs Shem Rock Full Fight – UFC Fight Night 265

Nurullo Aliev defeated Shem Rock via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) on November 22, 2025, during the preliminary card of UFC Fight Night: Tsarukyan vs. Hooker in Doha, Qatar.

• Round 1: The debuting Shem Rock briefly escaped an early leg-catch takedown, but Aliev quickly took control on the feet. Aliev continuously walked Rock down toward the cage and heavily buckled him with a strong left hand. Rock looked visibly uncomfortable, failing to find his range against Aliev’s pressure. 

• Round 2: Aliev dominated the center of the cage and significantly out-volumed Rock in striking. Though Rock initially showcased solid takedown defense, Aliev landed another clean left hand that buckled Rock before successfully securing a takedown. Rock managed to use the fence to get back to his feet but remained thoroughly outgunned. 
• Round 3: Knowing he was down on the scorecards, Rock increased his aggression and executed a successful takedown, briefly securing a full mount position on Aliev. However, Aliev expertly grappled his way out of danger using the cage. Aliev countered Rock’s subsequent grappling chains with a tight ninja choke attempt and sealed the round with a final takedown against the fence. 

The matchup was widely seen as a highly effective neutralization by Aliev. Despite Rock’s dangerous submission background coming out of European promotions, Aliev’s superior boxing presence and relentless wrestling pressure kept Rock defensive. This victory allowed Aliev to protect his perfect professional record.
