Plazibat started training at 15 and has a background in various martial arts, including boxing, MMA, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu . Before turning professional, he was a highly successful amateur, winning a silver medal at the 2015 WAKO World Championships and a gold medal at the 2018 European Championships .
