Dakota Ditcheva vs Sumiko Inaba Full Fight – PFL Africa 1

Dakota Ditcheva defeated Sumiko Inaba via a dominant unanimous decision (30–27, 30–27, 30–24) in their women’s flyweight co-main event at PFL Africa 1. The bout took place on July 19, 2025, at the GrandWest Arena in Cape Town, South Africa.

• Round 1: Initial Pressure & Takedown Defense – Sumiko Inaba opened aggressively, trying to close the distance and bully her way inside. She attempted a early takedown to change the momentum, but Ditcheva effectively stuffed and reversed the attempt using her superior takedown defense. 

• Round 2: The Muay Thai Clinic – Ditcheva took complete control of the cage by unleashing a relentless “eight-limbed” Muay Thai attack. She heavily utilized the clinch to land devastating knees and sharp elbows, wearing down the resilient Bellator veteran. 
• Round 3: Hand Injury & Distance Management – Ditcheva broke her left hand mid-round after landing a heavy punch, forcing her to shift to a more cautious strategy. She used long front kicks to maintain distance and keep Inaba from capitalizing on the injury. In the final seconds, an unscathed Ditcheva began showboating to the chanting Cape Town crowd. 

Despite absorbing heavy damage that left her face severely swollen, Inaba showcased incredible toughness by standing her ground until the final bell. The victory extended Ditcheva’s perfect professional MMA record to 15–0. Immediately following the win, Ditcheva announced inside the cage that she had officially re-signed a new contract with the  PFL.
