Post-Fight Controversy

Following the pay-per-view event, Holland accused Rodriguez of being “slippery like a bar of soap,” implying a greasing infraction. Rodriguez firmly shut down the allegations during an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, stating the slickness was purely sweat and pointing out that Holland’s third-round submission angles were just incorrect.
